Clean Eating & Healthy Lifestyles

Instructed by:  Personal Trainer, Theresa Smith

Need to lose weight or just want more information on clean eating?  Gain awareness on how to live a healthy lifestyle by what foods will keep you feeling energized and help keep your weight down.  Learn to calculate calories with proper percentages of nutrients specifically for your body.

SETTING GOALS:
Set healthy and realistic goals for weight loss or just a healthy lifestyle.  We will be taking body measurements and learning healthy body fat percentages for each individual.

COOKING:
Cooking will play a large part in this class.  We will be experimenting with different flavors to keep your tastebuds satisifed, as well as learning healthy food combinations.

STRETCHING & HEALTHY HEARTS:
Learn stretching techniques with jump stretch bands as well as walking techniques, correct posture and calculating your own fat burning zones.  If students already own a heart rate monitor, they should bring it.  Not mandatory, yet beneficial.  Wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes that will allow movement.

Course includes a red jump stretch band.
