This course intent is to introduce the public to the field of energy generation, distribution, and high-tech job skills that are in demand. Job opportunities in green technology are identified. The fundamental background of electricity is examined. Methods to produce, store, distribute, and monitor energy usage are discussed. The course is 10 weeks and utilizes a team teaching approach with instructors from business and industry.
