Canfield, Feb. 17, 2009 — Seventeen Mahoning County Career and Technical Center students are headed to Columbus for the Business Professionals of America State Competition. The students’ scores at the regional level placed them high enough to move onto state competition. Of the seventeen students, fourteen came in first place in their individual categories.
The Information Technology students competed in various categories at the regional competition from computer animation to video production. The regional awards were handed out during a banquet on February 5 at the Georgetown Banquet Facility.
The MCCTC students will head to Columbus for the state competition March 12-13. Students advancing to the state competition are:
