Advanced training is available in the form of seminars and workshops covering new trends, products and techniques, which give the stylist the opportunity to earn continuing education credits.

Comments:

Students will work with outside clients under the supervision of their instructor. Senior students who meet specified criteria will have an opportunity to do an internship in a salon. All qualified students will go through a mock state board exam at MCCTC prior to their Columbus state board exam for licensing in the state of Ohio. Following the state licensing exam, students who pass will be placed in a job.
