Horticulture students prepare holiday floral arrangements for community

Students in the Horticulture Program at the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center will hold their annual Holiday Open House beginning Nov. 30 featuring an array of holiday floral arrangements for sale.

Horticulture students have prepared fresh mixed pine wreaths, fresh arrangements, pine roping, swags, gift items, silk arrangements and silk wreaths for the Holiday Open House.  The floral shop will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday through December 23. 

Poinsettias will not be available this year due to renovations in the green house, but will be back next year. To place an order or for more information on the Holiday Open House, please contact Mary June Emerson, Horticulture Instructor at MCCTC, at 330-729-4000 ext. 1671.
